#1 Kitchen Remodeling on Cape Cod

We don’t build to code, we build to exceed expectations. Building code defines what is legally acceptable. It does not define excellence.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

Most kitchen remodels take between 6 and 10 weeks, depending on scope. A cabinet and countertop refresh might take 3-4 weeks, while a full gut renovation with layout changes, new plumbing, and electrical work typically runs 8-10 weeks. We’ll give you a detailed timeline before any work starts and we stick to it.

In most cases, yes. Any work involving plumbing, electrical, structural changes, or wall removal requires permits in Massachusetts. We handle all permit applications and inspections for you, it’s included in our service. You never have to visit the building department.

Yes. We regularly remove walls, including load-bearing walls, to create open-concept layouts. We work with structural engineers when needed to ensure everything is safe, up to code, and properly supported. It’s one of the most requested transformations we do on Cape Cod.

Absolutely. The National Association of Realtors estimates that a mid-range kitchen remodel returns approximately 75% of the investment at resale. On Cape Cod, an updated kitchen can be the single biggest factor in how fast your home sells and at what price.

For the first phase of most projects, yes, partially. Once demolition begins on plumbing and electrical, you’ll likely need to set up a temporary kitchen space (many of our clients use a spare room with a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker). We’ll help you plan for this so it’s as comfortable as possible.

Yes. Most of our clients stay in their homes during the project. If you have a second bathroom, your daily routine won’t be significantly disrupted. We protect your floors and living spaces, clean up at the end of each workday, and minimize dust and noise as much as possible.

It happens, especially in older Cape Cod homes. We always stop, show you what we found, explain your options with costs, and get your written approval before proceeding. No work gets done without your say-so. Transparency is how we operate.

We can discuss flexible payment structures to help you manage your project investment. Talk to Joe during your consultation, they’ll work with you to find a payment approach that fits your budget.

We recommend quartz countertops for durability and low maintenance, soft-close solid wood or plywood cabinetry for longevity, porcelain or luxury vinyl plank flooring for moisture resistance, and quality fixtures from trusted brands. For backsplash, subway tile and natural stone remain popular Cape Cod favorites. We’ll walk you through every option during your design consultation.
